"The idea of the scan pictures is to paint without a brush. I used faces or everyday things like food. While I scan the objects I paint with them. For the "food scans", I used fish fingers, grocery, pasta and ketchup. With the works of the "scan faces", I tried to create a new style of making a portrait. I destroyed the forms or still cut them to get peculiar paintings. You still see some parts of the faces like the eyes or the mouth. It is my main interest to change everyday objects into abstract works."
